The Global Youth Workers Conference (GYWC) is an inclusive platform for youth workers around the globe to discuss the best strategies for improving youth engagement. The conference allows youth workers to co-learn, co-design, and co-implement projects and programs aimed at positive change. It also serves as a key space to highlight the actions and impact of young change-makers, amplifying their work on a global scale.
GYWC strives to increase the visibility of youth-driven initiatives and create a collaborative environment where participants can exchange ideas, build meaningful networks, and develop strategies for sustained youth engagement.
Youth Arise Organization (YAO) is the organizing body behind GYWC. YAO is a community of young professionals committed to fostering the principles and values of mentorship. Through educational programs, policy work, and advocacy, YAO aims to empower youth and create a lasting impact by supporting their development and leadership.
Through the plenary and global youth conversations, GYWC will encourage and facilitate the active and meaningful engagement of young people by youth workers in the development and implementation of a policy document.
In collaborative lab crawls, we will co-learn, co-design and co-implement the projects and programs aligned with YAO’s field of competence.
